Lonely God 浪味仙
‘LONELY GOD’ is a series of photos consisting of 99 lonely individuals around the world.
I have always liked walking around with my camera, regarding it as the extension of my eyes. I enjoy the urban sensibility through the lens. Capturing snapshots while wandering around the city becomes the root of my creativity. 'A LONELY PERSON' is one of the targets my camera is searching for. I would happen to meet lonely individuals wherever I am, and I instinctively capture those fleeting moments of solitude, wondering whether all these lonely individuals will feel less lonely if they meet each other in my album. These lonely people from different corners of the universe become my exploration of the relationship between human beings and urban culture. The name came from a classic childhood snack in China during the 1990s.
